Courtney Griffith is a San Francisco based artist originally from San Diego, California. She studied painting at Santa Clara University, California and Syracuse University at Florence, Italy. In addition to a degree in fine arts, she also has a degree in mathematics. Many see the two fields of study as opposite, but she sees them as similar in a sense that they both deal with abstract thinking.

Hunter Franks creates ways for people to share introspections, hear other people’s stories, and reimagine social norms. His practice encompasses community-based public art, visual work, writing, and installation. He shares cultural commentary and conducts actions that display that we are all far more similar than we are different. As people begin to contemplate their own role in shaping culture, they begin to reimagine the possibilities present for connection, empathy, love, and joy within their own lives, their neighborhood, and their city.

Rafael Bustillos was born and raised in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico. In May of 2018, Rafael obtained a MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. While his time at SFAI, Rafael created work with photography, ceramics, and paintings. He is currently making painting and sculptures by using utilitarian material that are commonly used to build homes.

Sandra Liu was born in San Diego, California in 1996. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting with a Concentration in animation from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2018.
